Another great thing about glads is that (like dahlias) they grow new corms every year. The majority of the glads I have now are from a random little assortment pack from a garden center that my mom got a few years ago on clearance. I’ve dug them up and spread them out a couple of times since, and I harvested at least 100 stems off of just those this year.
Amaranth – and you can eat the leaves …….. Marog is what we call it here.

Good call on the cilantro. Kind of like a baby’s breath, but more subtle.
I've used carrot blossums too! Just pull a carrot and replant it and it will bloom, so beautiful and radish blooms are awesome and are fast at bolting in hot weather and be dirt cheap to do too!

So with the sunflowers I have always had trouble dirext sowing because ants… I want then in the back edge of the fence that lines a field ao the ants critters were LOVING thie special treat… wasn't till I started indoors till I had success!

That's a great list… why haven't you mentioned Dahlias at all! You have them in all your bouquets.. but no mention of it at all!

Before this video I would have never thought of basil or cilantro to use as fillers, but I love the look! Thanks! I am one of those people who can’t stand the taste of cilantro, but I’ll be growing some for cut flower arranging now 🙂
