Now I know what types of handlebars exist.
lol, you do haul ass when you work.
Thank you Curtis! Do you, or anyone else out there, know of metric charts available for seed spacings for the Jang?
Korea is metric after all…but I haven´t found anything online. (easy enough to convert on excel though.) Cheers from Oaxaca.
Good stuff, thank you, cheers.
Hi Curtis. What would you advise when using any of these seeders for a mixed cover crop – a 7 seed crop mix would have all different seed sizes.
Thank you for sharing.
Jang Seeder: http://goo.gl/XGvJtl link is not working
any experience with the jang and corn or beans? Heard it's not well suited to those.
I just got my seeder today and I was wondering if you felt it best to have the soil moist or dry when using the seeder for better performance?
Hey Curtis. I was noticing that your jang seeder and mine are a little different even though it is the same jp-1. My blade or ground opener has the extra medal piece that is welded on the front of the opener, but yours doesn't. Do you have any idea why the difference even though they are the same seeder and model?
Hey Curtis, sorry these questions keep popping up, but the legend that you show taped to the lid at the 5:30 mark of the video. I have your book and I can't find that legend. Can you tell me the page number?
For the money I like the Hoss seeder built down in Georgia.
Curtis, I know you've streamlined your diversity of crops and you may no longer do beets. However, have you figured out a good roller for them yet?I'm trying to eliminate thinning as a task on the farm and am looking for advice on which rollers and sprocket settings to use to not have to thin radish, beets, and carrots… Thanks!
ITs so hard to watch these vids. Too boring. Sorry, I’m sure you’re a wealth of knowledge.
Where did you buy this seeder?
Also what would recommend for beets?
Hi Curtis! How often do these rollers jam and what material are they made out of?
Curtis can you recommend a seed spreader for 128/200 seedling plugs. Have about 30, 000 of scotch bonnet pepper seeds to do every 4 months
how to buy that tools?????
Found this vlog you made on the Jang. Thx
I just bought this seeder wich seems great. thanks a lot for this video. It really helps!
I have a problem, if I push to fast roller won’t catch the seed only if I go super slow
I know this is years ago now, but … about the roller you were trying to mod, did you consider using a countersink bit? Might soften the edges of the holes and make them easier to exit.
does it work with normal seeds also?
Anyone solve the spinach & beet roller problem?
theres a knob there so you can adjust the handle left/right so if you have wide beds you can place it more on the side you want to walk on it and not have to lean over the beds to control the seeder
Sweet! Will that plant corn and soybeans every 6"?
Can I.sow cotton with this
Great Video! Ordering one now.
Can you mix seeds in a single hopper like the Natives did: Corn, Beans and Squash?
