VIDEO: The RUSH To Plant Garlic

It is getting late in the year, so we are rushing to get our garlic planted in time. But the snow keeps making it difficult! To help with the job, we have built ourselves a handy dibbler out of our broadfork and some garbage laying around.

We also show how to make toum or garlic sauce! It’s so delicious and easy – the perfect way to use up any leftover cloves of garlic after planting.

Recipe:
1 cup garlic (if you want to be cook like Serina, go ahead and make it heaping)
2 teaspoon salt
.5 cup lemon juice
3 cups light oil such as canola
blend till emulsified, while slowly adding the oil – it’s easy, trust me, if I can do it, anyone can
