Many new gardeners panic when they see an infestation of aphids. They look up organic pest control options to get rid of these pest insects. But in my experience, that’s not necessary most of the time. In a healthy, organic garden, by not spraying when you see aphids, you can watch as nature takes care of the problem for you.

Fiuu. I was worried but apparently now I just need to wait 🙂
Thanks Jill I’m so new at this and you’re calm demeanor helps so much!!
How very helpful, thank you !!
Interesting……thanks for sharing your experience. Guess I have been lucky as I have never had aphids visit the garden. If they do I will be ready to do nothing!
Jill: I have a lot of tiny fire ants in my pumpkin garden bed. Is this a sign of aphids?
I noticed a lot of small spiders creating webs in my outdoor plants and they’re catching/eating the aphids! 🙂
Brilliant advice. It works.
I just buy a bag of ladybugs and some green lacewing larvae every spring now the predators are established and come back every year they do the work for me
