It's wonderful to have a garden that's for enjoyment and relaxation. I don't have time to grow a garden for production due to working away from the house 40-50 hours/week. The garden is necessary for me to connect to God and to nature, to revitalize my soul.
Yes!! An ocean of ripples, friend!
You know when I married my husband, I knew I would be a c-section if we had babies. The wonderful things of understanding husbandry…
I'm a ripple *feeling inspired *
Since I started following you, I have learned that my garden is not just a job, a place to dread working in. You taught me to add bits of beauty along with grand plan of growing food. This is the first year I have ever actually enjoyed my garden. And I am so grateful to you for that ❤️
Soooo jealous of your bottle babies❤️

I, oops, fried all my tomato starts in my new cattle panel greenhouse this year, but found a plant sale selling the Italian heirlooms that I really wanted to try! Had such a great conversation with a couple of Roots and Refuge fans! It is a small world, and there are more of us out there right "next door" than you think!
Try 96 in sc.
Prayers for your family
Jess, do you plan to do raised beds for your the new garden?
The coloured water is from iron-fixing bacteria. a new filter won't fix he problem. you need a uv light filter, which will kill the bacteria.
I have the same dark purple hollyhocks that I planted from seed 2 springs ago. They did not sprout in 2020 at all but it sprouted back in March 2021 and it is now a giant plant ! And oh so beautiful
Don’t mind me crying in my garden this morning. Thanks Jess.
Just curious if 5 year plan is going to come out right before move, that would be a good time, October is overdue
Can't wait to see whats next. 🙂 Continue to be blessed. <3
You wanted some feedback on things we like that you have done. My most favorite thing is the arches. I like that you try to keep it real and the joy and excitement you show in the garden. I don't like the cold weather either. Cool nights for sleeping and warm sunshine days, my kind of weather. Have a blessed day!
You should never feel silly. So many things you touched on in passing in this vlog, where active questions and concerns currently in my garden. He talks through you more than you know! Thank you Jess!
can you explain your water system and filtering …. i’m a new gardener using my well water and seeing some issues with my plants i’m wondering if the fact that the water isn’t filtered is part of the issue
Another beautiful, comfortable looking dress for gardining! Please, where do you shop for those?
