  1. Thank you for this information on kidding supplies. My doe is getting ready to have her first kidding for her and I, so I really didn’t know what I needed. We breed show horses so I know how foaling is suppose to go but not kidding. So I need to go to TSC tomorrow. What are the syringes for. I have CMPK D3 drench what do I need to get? Thanks so much for helping me so much.

  2. I totally agree with your reasons for bottle feeding. We have done both, and though it does pull at my heart strings to separate mamas and babies, I really prefer to bottle feed too!

  3. I can totally understand your reasoning with how you want to feed them and I'm with you. If you feel it is safer and less stressful then go with what works for you and your family.

  4. Jess, I know exactly what you're saying about highering the price to put it on ;Buy 4 in the price of one. My Albertson's in my area always do that. HATE THAT! Congratulations on your new Kidds. They are beautiful.

  5. I have heard that when you keep the buck near the does, it will taint the milk. Have y’all experienced this? Do y’all keep your bucks separate?

  6. I bought two Nubian doelings on March 2nd, they were born Jan 29, 2019. One took a bottle just fine, the other absolutely would NOT take it, so I ended up giving her her milk in a bowl and it worked perfectly. I did learn to ask to SEE them take a bottle when they are being sold as "bottle babies" – these two had no idea what a bottle was..

  7. I have lost a couple of goats die of milk fever. Since I had five children I took my babies fed them milk, and the goats I took from their mothers were much easier to handle. I enjoy your channel .
