Love your system there! I am with you folks 100% on the mulch, it's is such an asset to gardeners. Lunch looked awesome as usual. I ate my first fresh spuds last night, and wow do I love home grown taste! Have a great day folks:)
That was a great update Lea, more than just pea planting! I love the noises the chickens make while they are working through the compost. Your girl on the coop roof, has she ever been fully accepted by the other girls yet? I just love how nature works, the chickens get the garden waste and take care of that for you, and you plant peas and give the Robins a feast! It is all connected!!!
love watching you garden come together. so envious. lol. thanks for sharing
Nice thanks for sharing
Enjoying your garden & food diary. ❤ My tomato plants have been hit badly with blight due to the rain & humidity. My plants are looking raggedy after pruning the infected shoots every other day. Should I go ahead and pull the tomato plants that have little to no bloom?
Nice work there, I am learning a lot from you.
Hi Lea, the chickens seem to be loving that pile of vegetation!
I LOVE MULCH! It helps with so much in the garden!
That plate of food sure did look great, especially the okra!!
Good work on the peas and garden prepping!!
Have a good'nnn
Gotta love those chickens !!
Those peas are looking great already! Those chickens really do tuck in there! Such wonderful personalities! Lovely looking lunch there.
