  1. I love your tree! Last year, we made our tree out of books. This year we made it out of a ladder. We've never loved our trees more than we have the last two years.Simple, yet beautiful! Merry Christmas to the both of you. I always look forward to a videos!

  2. Step #1 ALWAYS mark your trail with orange trail marking tape… #2. While your hiking though your woods in the fall be looking for trees that would make nice Christmas trees and mark them with your orange marking tape, So when it's time for your Christmas tree to be cut you then can make your final choice. #3. Have fun and give yourself plenty of day lite time… AND ALWAYS let the lady make the final choice. Ladies have a better eye for picking out just the right tree… I don't know why but trust me after 39 years I just learn things like that… LOL,LOL,LOL… AND #4.HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THOSE SPECIAL MOMENTS PICKING OUT YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE… Merry Christmas 🙂

  3. Hi Derek and Paula, just found you on youtube and have been catching up on some of your wonderful adventures, love the vids and wishing you both a very Happy 1st Christmas in your new home 🙂

  4. That tree is one of the prettiest trees I've seen this year. The love and caring that when into finding the tree, cutting and hauling it home, and the decorations made it a perfect tree of your love for each other. A late Merry Christmas to you both.

  5. Rather than kill a beautiful young tree, why don't you grow or buy a couple in large pots and decorate , that way they will get bigger each year and you will always have a lovely healthy tree without…………the other thing.
