The urban farmer is eating well. 😉
I'm curious what size those mini-fields are? I assume the beds are about 30in, with something like 6-8in between each bed. But it seems like more than 12-13ft wide…
Opinion on treated seed? Better germination? More protected?
Wonderful tips! Thank you
Does the seeder work better if your running or something?
obviously you like the Jung, but do you have any experience with Hoss, I'm looking at getting a seeder and not sure yet which one
Nice soil in NZ.
5:57 So that's RAD-ish!
I like my Planet junior seeders way better-100 years old and still going strong 🙂
If only the furrow opener were a disc, it would be supper in a minimum tillage conditions
Olympic Speed Seeding division
Great video. We like to plant our beds in half, lengthwise when need. I go crazy with all the back and forth. Going the distance cuts the breakdance in half.
The only care I have when jangin' is to reduce too much wavy lines so that I can use my hoes to cultivate weeds easily in between the rows. Makes a huge difference over the crop cycle. Besides that, its always. good enough for who its for.
Great tips to increase speed and loosen perfection where its not needed. You are a machine!
not a seeding question but rather a fencing question….are those line holders for electrified fencing on corners/borders of the plots?
Hey really quick question how do you put down a weed barrier with this seeder? I dealt with this last year because I hate weeding but I couldn't direct sow and keep the barrier from shifting
That was rad! Well… rad-ish
Outa courisity, I never gave it any/much thought about how fast to push a planter. Im assuming that, with the Jang planter you can go FAST, and with others you cant. Am I right?
What David Cutter song is that in the end of the video?
These beds are very neat, how did you make them and do they stay well-maintained over time? Since I plan to grow on land that I don't own, I want to know how I can keep things as neat as possible.
hahahahaha nicccccc me hamza saleem nic bhai
So you would use this for rootcrops? But not other crops? And how would you stop birds and other animals from eating the sprouts?
Is "uneven" Canadian for Odd?
Would it work in a no-till situation as long as there is good soil quality?
My favorite part of this video is all the random stuff holding his tarp down……what works, works.
why not just use the Jang P-3?
how many seeds do you use per row?
Is that a green BCS? Custom paint or can you order different colors?
How far apart when the seeds drop each time?
He must be tired with that planter
5 minutes to sow, 5 hours to prepare the beds
