  1. Your videos are edited so well and your family helping is wonderful to see. I love the raised bed sowing. I love comphrey, I got mine online from someone in Michigan so it was late getting to Georgia because while its hot here they had snow on the ground so ordering online the zone difference is a big factor…sometimes I just know if I get something this year I'll see it grow up next year. But looking at your videos give me the same watm fuzzies lkke ooening my gardening catalogs in February. So thank you and I look forward to each one you post.
    Be blessed.

  2. my three youngest boys are 8, 5, and 3. This video gave me a few chuckles. First when you asked Ben why didn't he open the gate and he said never because my 3 yr old says the same thing when I ask him something. I get a "Nevaaahh". Then when you told them no fighting with the tools, lol. That is the same statement I would have to make if I handed my boys a weed tool.

  3. You and 1 other vlog family have convinced me that this is the life for me. So what did I do? I bought18 acres and started the process of transitioning my life. 1 problem, the only thing that I've ever successfully grown in soil are tomatoes and peppers; which basically grow themselves. There's not 1 houseplant in my house because I've killed them all. Soooooo, wish me luck.

  4. I love your channel! I just started gardening this year and I love it. Your videos are so informative and well explained. I'm so thankful!

  5. Have you tried red plastic mulch for tomatoes? I'm trying it this year 🙂 It's porous and reputed to reflect more sun and not make the soil hot enough to kill beneficial microbes?

  6. Loved seeing your seed "working area"! Looks like my table this time of year…piles: to be planted, already planted, leave handy for succession planting, old seeds should be tested first…maybe…if there's time!! LOL!

  7. What is the green container tower outside the greenhouse, did you make it and how? Did you make your greenhouse, and how? Sure enjoy your videos, learning so much!!

  8. @RootsandRefuge Jess I’ve been watching some older videos of yours and came across this!! And now you have the cottage perennial garden and I know it’ll look so good

  9. "Limited in resources as far as money and time" – I FEEL this! I wanted to be able to buy everything I wanted brand new for my magical secret garden (and buy it right NOW), and then leave everything behind and live in it……but we're in the real world where that ain't happenin 🙂 Doesn't it feel so good when you finally start to make the vision a reality though!!

  10. Thank you for your videos. I’ve learn so much already about new things I want to attempt in my own garden. You’ve brought a sense of peace to my soul and I thank you for that!!

You two are so cute!! I guess you could say that I'm one of your New BEEES. I have this snowy day here today so it gives me a chance to catch up on your videos. I kind of hop around to see what I need to see and learn about the pattern of growing and what will fit our needs here in the garden. So I may be listening to videos that are a year old but then if the message fits I will soak it in. So far the last 3 days I have had you going form 9 to 5. I say that with a smile because you are consuming my day with so much knowledge. I live with my daughter and she has almost an acre and has let me have part of it for the veggies. She loves to cook so she is benefiting from the harvest. So you have the new gardener on your hands, not with a lot of questions but just soaking in the verbiage and plotting out my plan. Thanks again for the warmth and smiles you give and a big hug to that big guy of yours.

  12. I watch your channel at night before bed. I’m always left relaxed and content after watching you and your beautiful family. Thank you for making these videos.

  13. Jess, if you see this in the middle of your move, listen to yourself at 15:50. Such great words almost exactly 2 years before you embark on something very new. Thanks for all the great videos.
