Those look delicious. Will have to try some. Thanks for this 4 year old video. Your biscuits are timeless!!!
Wow! That is a novel way to make biscuits. I can just imagine how that would taste with real butter and some homemade strawberry jam!
Have you ever used dry buttermilk powder and if so how do you use it? Lol I can’t do vinegar, well because it stinks! LOL 🙂 I am a TERRIBLE cook
These looks so good !!! Wish I could make biscuits as good as my grandma. She was known for her biscuits ^_^
Humidity can affect how wet or dry flour is.
You inspired me to make these this morning, delicious!
Thank you for this demo. Can not wait to get that Lodge pan.
Yummy!!!
My husband’s grandma was raised during the depression. She said the kids would sneak a biscuit & put their thumb in the side & fill it with syrup. This was their treat. She was a very humble godly lady. God bless. Memau from Georgia
Can you use salted butter in this just curious
I like this method
What the heck, gotta try making these, too!
You ate adding too much flour. They will be dry.
Hi so does your beautiful name have a meaning?
Keep your (salted) butter at room temperature on your counter, in a covered dish. Will keep for weeks that way, and you can spread it without tearing up your biscuits.
Something new for me! Will be trying these biscuits! Love your way of cutting the dough in strips to prevent mess and to save time! Thanks!
Love the idea of not cutting individual biscuits. All about time saving! Will try soon!
OMG! Those biscuits look delicious!! You make baking so enjoyable – I adore your enthusiasm, combined with such knowledge. Thank you!
Would be good for strawberry shortcake too!
My mama always used calberred milk in baking.
Yum!
Oh, yes!!!! I'm going to try and make these today on my fantastic new cast iron griddle pan!
Scones!!
I have been making my buttermilk like this for a while now and never have run out I have some in the refrigerator now and I will be making more and that's all you have to do.
