This video shows how to grow parsley hydroponically using the Kratky method. The Kratky method is a non circulating hydroponic method. That means it is simple to set up, no pumps, no airstones….really a set it and forget it method. If you are not familiar with the Kratky method, check out my video on how to set it up here:

Another great job Tikki! I bet with parsley, you could probably and easily put about 3 plants per jar, however, the natural transpiration of 3 plants per jar may require a little refill of fluids.
Very informative, thank you!
I have been growing hydroponically in my apt for about 3 years but still learn from you. Thank you!
Hi Tiki, are there ways to grow parsley from a bunch of leaves/stems (like the type you can buy at a supermarket) hydroponically? Thanks!
How often do you change the water?
Hi Tikki. I am a newbie to growing hydroponic plants. I noticed you have some white residue on the clay pebbles as I do. Is this powdery mildew? If not, is it problematic? What can be done to prevent it? Thank you for your reply.
Love your method. seems so easy.
Love all of your videos. You are my go to on Kratky growing. Keep up the great work. I understand that you are a professor. I have a question…. You always limit each jar to one plant. What is the science behind this? Would two or three plants yield more and just consume more water or is there other negative downsides? Again, Thanks!
I love your videos. Straight to the point, informative, and visually pleasing
