  1. Thanks for this, just tried it today! I found the olive oil I used was too strong tasting, and I ended up tossing it, but tried it with Canola oil and it was fantastic, especially in a fresh tomato sandwich

  2. I love homemade mayo, too! I also had a million fails with other appliances while trying to make mayo (and a very sore arm from whisking the two times I tried that!) and about 15 years ago I came across a food blog that showed this method and I have never looked back! For people who don't like mayo, I encourage them to try homemade because it tastes SO different than storebought.

  3. Made this mayo this morning. I did not have a lemon so I usee white wine vinegar.Even my very picky husband liked it. I dont see us going back to store bought.Thank you for Sharing so many easy makes. Like everyone else I am busy and if it's very complicated I will not do it.

  4. Awesome! I just cleared out a jar of mayo this weekend and told my husband I wanted to see about making my own in the future and now I see this! Thank you for all your amazing homemade recipes! Keep those babies coming!!

  5. We ran out mayo and I saw your video so I ran into the kitchen to try it only to realize we only had about 2 tablespoons of Dijon which we are not a fan of. (Leftover from a previous recipe) but it ended up being a great way to use it up without throwing it out and the mayo took all of 30 seconds and it came out awesome!!!! Who knew you can feel accomplished in 30 seconds!! Thank you for your videos and showing anyone can make things from scratch.

  6. I have a bamix hand blender that is the jewel in my kitchen. It is always right next to the stove and stays dirty because I am always using it. I have not made mayonnaise yet but plan to do so soon. I just found your videos a week ago and they are my favorite gardening and cooking videos. You are doing a wonderful job of creating content.

  7. I love mayo!! and I'm so inspired by you!! I came from searching freezer meals and now I'm here for good watching all you give us!! Thank you Becky!! <3 much love California soon to be Texas

  8. Hi Becky

I looooOoOve your channel. You don’t know it yet but we are best friends.

Two questions, do you use the same Emerson blender for all your projects? Or do you have one used for food and another used for things like soap?

Also, the eggs are raw. Is that not dangerous?

  9. I wish I could be the kind of cook that does not measure but I have to measure. How do you make your mayo thicker than that. I love Kraft Mayo because of the consitency and taste.

  10. I love the idea of making homemade but I don’t need as much as the recipe makes and would not want to waste. Can I cut your recipe in half? Thanks for the awesome videos. Love your channel!

  11. I bought. A clear plastic 6 gallon tote to put my rings in, then I can stack it and use it as a stable base when I need! And yes the tote is full! Pantry organization is a constant battle especially through summer and fall,
