Pickled beets are so good! Your garden is kicking buddy! Yep that old straw makes some amazing growing media. That basket made me laugh. Rene always says dang I brought a knife to a gun fight again. LMBO. Nice harvest! That corn is looking really good! Have a great weekend!
Gardens looking good my friend! I might try this way of growing in the future, the corn looks like it really likes all that straw, I do something similar with mine, check it out, I posted a video a few days ago.
Your garden is killing it even in this bad year for gardening!
You may want to try roasting slices of beets with olive oil, minced garlic and sea salt.
You gotta pic that Kohlrabi early. They get woody when they get huge. But I remember growing them as a kid. I could eat an entire one with ranch if given the chance.
Wow everything looks great!!!! I’m hoping your sweet potatoes will do great for you, they look great from up top! What a great harvest. We love those cucumbers too!!!
4 words…You…are…the…man
Giant kohlrabi. I need to put that on a list to try. I love that you try beets just to remind yourself why you don’t like them. Garden looks great.
