In the UK Poundstretcher sell Batchelors peas for 39p, or Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, ASDA or Morrisons do them for about 50p

Is that a cut on your right cheek? Hope all is well. As always, amazing gardening ideas, especially as the sprouts we get in the stores are notorious carriers of E. coli. I’m looking at other ideas too as I love sprouts on my sandwiches!

Question for you Hew; With pea shoots being grown in compost, is there any danger to eating the pea shoots as far as bacteria, or?? from the compost? is there a proper or improper c9mpost, or earth that one should not use for growing raw veggies like these? please let me know your thoughts. We tried this a few days ago with random unpeeled dried peas from the store. Worked like a charm and they taste really good! Thank you for the great tip!
