  1. So excited to save onion seeds this year off some old sprouting red onions. 🙂 Thank you! These bells are sooo beautiful! We bought two in Plymouth Ma and they make the most wonderful sound on the porch at my windy NoVa home. Well worth the cost.

  2. Great idea and I did exactly this after watching one of your videos and now I have some flower heads from the onion bulb. Can you help me with when and how I can collect the seed….also, when can I plant them. Thank you for your channel!

  3. Like watching your videos but it would be nice to really show us how the onion looked in the box, show a clip of you really planting the onion and the steps demonstrated. So many time you talk about it but it would help to see a visual of the process.

  4. I got my onion to sprout, and got nice roots on it, but then someone told me I won’t get seeds from it , and I needed like 6 or more onions to cross pollinate, is that true ?

  5. Look up webbgrow. They may be ready for some advertising. If you need a great device for a mother tomato plant to harvest suckers and transplant this thing is the bee's knees.

  6. Unfortunately, onion seeds have a very short shelf life – germination rate is low even just the second year. They are the shortest ‘keep’ ability of anything I have grown.

  7. not a pro tip, just what I do.
I will clear the flesh and save the heart, one onion can yield 2~4 individual plants. Love your stuff BTW, shout out from the norther MN folks.

  8. Please consider your neighbors when deciding to buy one of those noise makers. I prefer the sound of birds chirping, to metal bangs, for example. and I like rock music, and stay up to all hours of the night. Just sayin…
