We tried this with some herbs from a grocery franchise in our area. We cut them and tried to make them look like yours and we agreed they looked good. We planted them in some Jiffy peat pellets and water them. We put them near a window that gets afternoon sun where we started our seedlings last year.
They are looking sad and only the sage seems like it has hope.

No explanation of what to do next. After they are immersed in honey and planted then what? How much water and light? How long before you transplant?
You mentioned beach sand at one point! Avoid that…too much salt. But the use of honey was cool!
Couldn't you just cut dead off stem and such in a jar of fresh water til it roots. Then plant.
What did you call those cubes and best place to get them? Can you grow ginger from grocery store roots.

I put a rosemary cutting in water, and once it rooted, I planted it in an empty grape tomato container–the dome shaped ones with the saucer-looking bottoms. It's doing great!
I`ve tried this growing herbs from store brought cuttings. & they make great gifts, Potted up in pretty pots.
I don't have rockwell cubes. I'll be using soil. Should I still dip them in honey? And is it ok to use raw honey?
Honey…… now that is a pro tip! great stuff. I have been watching a lot of gardening stuff. also mushrooms stuff. and its all about nutrition. I wonder always why not chuck some raw sugar in there. honey was a great tip

Do you have a followup video for these cuttings? This is the first time I've seen honey can be used for propagation so I'm just curious to know if you had a success doing so. For me I would just use water to propagate those herbs and they would root fine. I have found rooting hormone doesn't do better for me so far.

My Rosemary died on me
I work at a place that sells potted flowers, vegetables, and herbs. That being said, I am not in charge of their care, hence they wilt and I get all the unsellable rejects or at least the peat/perlite mixture if the plant is unsalvageable.

My local grocery store throws organic fresh herbs out by the handful every day and they give it to the local food banks! I never pay for herbs! Your videos are so informative

Most stores get money back for throwing things out “mark out”. It’s unlikely to get free anything… helpful video though in terms of farming
