I really enjoy your videos! This one is very inspiring because it encourages everyone to just go ahead and create a space for what you really love! I revived my roofdeck garden at the start of the lockdown and your videos have been so helpful – thank you!! I harvested spinach, leeks and basil this morning and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing your produce on the table!
Don't know how much vedgies pod cost you over in the use but in oz they are expensive for the size and area size for the amount of vedgies you can grow grate idea but too dear
Skunks don’t like citrus. Grind up lemons including the rind and mix with water. Spray around the area the skunks are bothering.
Squirrels/birds/skunks are total jerks when it comes to the garden. I’ve found three different plants knocked over in as many weeks. My plants are ok though

Kevin a question I was wanting to ask you is what did you do before u became a gardener and started doing the epic garden channel.
How do you know it’s a skunk?
Stag horns and fern trees are a staple in my parent's garden in QLD Australia. They don't do anything to them honestly. Mum puts tealeaves and banana skins in the back of the stag horns every few months and waters them every few weeks. The fern tree is next to the frog pond and in constant dappled shade. They're pretty good like that! My parents are in a really dry part of Queensland, 18%-35% humidity is standard, temps tend to range from -5C to 45C, and they rarely get rain (drought conditions basically).

I find it fascinating that you say “kale doesn’t do well in the heat”. I live in Perth Australia, where the summer heat easily reaches 40 degrees Celsius. My kale has grown into a small tree with multiple branches. Even a nursery here is shocked that kale can grow so huge. Never give up on your kale. They might surprise you.
It's hot where you are isn't it? How do you find the grow bags? do they dry out. I live in QLD, in Australia and I am thinking of using them. I just worry as we don't usually have a lot of rain and its very hot.

Fox urine repel a lot of animals including skunks. They do sell it in granulated form & liquid form. The only downside is rain will wash it away. Great for fence lines.
