  1. OMG! I am so glad I went back and watched this! There are sooo many times when I feel like I must be the only girl on the planet who is so hard on her clothes. I'm an electrician. A mom. A grammy to a 9 month old. A draft horse owner. Chicken owner. A complete lover of dirt! Dirt is my therapy. My sanctuary. My gardens, both veggie and flower are my places to reflect on what is going on around me. All of this being said, I will definitely be looking into Thred Up! Thank you for putting this out here!!!

  2. Link to the shirt is gone? Can someone give any update. I would love to support it. My mom is in a similar situation as a spa owner with her work being eliminated, it hit home.

  3. My husband and I are 71 and 80 but gardening with the same spirit as you. We're in the northeast quadrant with 2 acres we've lived on for 50 years, and seeds are up now, potato leaves are sprouting through the ground, tomato plants are thriving as well as 12 more vegetables and numerous flowers and herbs. We've planted a tomato share garden down near the street and if they grow well people can take what they need when they're ripe. In our life, my husband and I worked in corporate America, he for 40 years but I branched off and owned a flower, herb and floral design business here on our property along with gardens and a small studio and a rental space in Maine for 20 yrs. I retired it some years ago but when I began watching your videos I felt a strong pull to go back to the earth. Herb (his real name) immediately began working a plan with me and we are in full garden mode this summer during the pandemic. We haven't done this much garden work in 10 years….it's so joyful. Love to thrift as well…..love good buys! We drag furniture home and repurpose and paint it! Life is beautiful! Thanks, Jess, for the inspiration!!

  4. Good Afternoon! I am late coming to your party But, I've been devouring your video's the last few days. I heard you say you are in Conway. We used to own a hotel in Branson MO. I'm very aware of your weather… hot and humid is an understatement. This one really touches me too. We now live in North Texas… and there is a place called Thrift Giant in Denton ( 20 miles 15 minutes) from us. I love that place. Clothes, vases, cast iron.. I even got my granddaughter some baby toy's from there. You just bring them home and bleach them really good and Viola! Good as new 1/10 the price. I used to feel bad about going to thrift stores to get my clothes, I can and do buy from other places… but I enjoy the thrift store so much more! We are revamping our little 3 acre farm, along with a total house remodel. You have really inspired me about the raised beds. Between you and Living traditions… my head is swimming. Thank you! Thank you so much!

  5. Oh gosh!!! haha, we have been thrifting for years. So much better in my opinion. There are definitely some great treasures to be found!! We have a goodwill just like that with the bins and pay by the pound and had never been to one before last year. My husband calls it the ghetto goodwill, haha but we could spend hours there. Do miss that being open, thanks for the sharing your time with us!!

  6. Love your blog and I also buy most of my clothes second hand. Also raised my kids on home grown veggies. Keep up the great videos blessings to you and your family.

  7. Hi there I was trying to order the T-shirt is supporting your brother and the page cannot be found not sure what happen you can anybody let me know thank you love you program seeing you each day if you times looking for it for new movies thanks Eva

  8. oh goodness, GROCERY DRESS! I love clothes and getting dressed up, but being in quarantine & working from home I've had nowhere to wear my fun clothes. I totally understand the whole idea of "grocery dress!!!" lol

  9. Hey Jess, I too love morning glory plants. The "poison " in morning glories is actually a hallucinogen. Morning glories are the original source for LSD. Don't eat the seeds.
Check out Blue Picotee morning glories. This is the only variety that I grow.

  10. Watching this a year later but as a fashionista myself and one who loves gardening you should wear your cutesy dresses when you do your monthly garden tours. It will be such a pretty ascetic for your viewers both with the beauty of the garden and your fashion!

  11. I love your get out of the BOX attitude. What I tell people about myself is, I was born in the box but crawled out in infancy. I have never felt the need to crawl back into it. Blessings, Zanna
