  1. I so love that moment when the sun hits ,in just the right way and lights everything up

It's my favorite time of day….just lovely
Love you to…and yes it has been a crazy spring this year

  2. Hi Jess, I'm a Montessori teacher in Arizona. I know you're incredibly busy, but if you put your gardening lessons on paper or on line as curriculum, teachers would be so grateful. It's just a thought.

  3. 2019 our garden completely flopped because of a mass shortage of bees. This year 2020 we are getting bees as well. Can't deal with no fruit because of a lack of pollinators. I can't imagine hand pollinate my garden let alone yours. Let us know this year if your bees got you going

  4. Absolutely love rosemary on chicken! Especially love to slow roast a chicken with butter and rosemary under the skin of the breast and all over the chicken. Also great in chicken noodle soup. I don't even like any chicken dish anymore without rosemary. Another great herb is savory, put in green bean soup with potatoes and ham or bacon. It is a Mennonite thing from Kansas and just makes it.

  5. Can I make a suggestion for your raised beds. Collect as many leaves in the fall as you can and grind them up. You can place them in a garbage can and grind them with a weed eater very easily. Then just toss them in your beds and by next season you have some beautiful soil. The worms love this and it will enrich your beds like you wouldn't believe.

  6. Been fully bingeing your videos cause Of this virus. As a gardening person your videos stuck as a good project. so I am At home starting seeds at my kitchen table with nice wide corner table next to the window. If you had not inspired me I would not being so happy!!!

  7. OMG YOU ARE ADORABLE!! I so appreciate your honesty and the real you. I have tended a small raised garden for four yrs…I LOVE IT!
My garden is in the kennel so my dogs can play while I'm gardening or just watching it grow. Been pretty successful with most things, but
weather and summer smoke from forest fires effects it for sure.
Hoping for a great garden this year. Beets, green beans, peas, carrots,
Cucumber and lettuce. Herbs: cilantro ( of course), basil, majoram, Italian parsley, oregano and chives. Will add a few new ones this year.
Thank you for your inspiration, creativity and sharing that not perfect is perfect♡

  8. 4:00 Omg Jess- I want that sturgeon So Bad! Please let them set seeds, and save some for us <3 Never saw a variety with white on the leaves, and I only had a few with that dark color.
I had them around my old house and I have Never seen Anything like that Gigantuous cushion of flowers in big dark-green leaves! Turns out my dogs(and sometimes the man 0_0 ) did pee on them…

  9. Hey Jess, you said that last winter was really mild. Scarlet Runner beans are perineal. You can dig up the rootball and overwinter it in the greenhouse for planting next spring. They produce a much larger crop the second year.
