  1. Hi Curtis, just wondering what spacing you use for Parsley, Cilantro, and Baby dill. As far as I can tell this is not mentioned in your book. Looking at an older video of yours, it looks like 5 rows of cilantro – but can't tell for the others.

  2. hi Urban Farmer. have you ever used a light netting…like mosquito-type netting to cover leafy greens such thst it rests on the Plants themselves? if so, did it affect how well the Plants spread their foliage? if not I'm going to tey it bc for brassicas, its hard to keep away the pests

  3. unrelated question: growing in urban areas means growing in more polluted areas. all the traffic nearby and so on. what do you make of this?

  4. There is a company here in greece producing euro drip. In fact i think its a greek company. I do everything on drip here with 15cm emiters, and i must say its a grate product.

  5. I recently bought drip irrigation supplies and micro inverted greenhouse sprinklers from drip depot in the U.S. and I am really happy with the quality! Give them a shot if you need more drip dude.

  6. Hey Curtis, I would love for you to feature a drip irrigation design expert on for a episode. Like a OEM or local biz Rep from rainbird or hunter who really knows drip tape math and zoning limits. You must be using wifi zoning valves for remote plots via water control software at this point. I haven't found anyone familiar with "home run" + 4* header design you use. urban plots pretty failsafe with 3/4" header and 1/2" tape?

  7. I know you are showing tomatoes in the newer greenhouse, but construction is not far off of the cat tunnel… did you just run eye bolts and wire directly into the ribs of this one for your plant supports? Thinking of doing the same in my cat, concerned about weight. Just became a Patreon supporter, I made the jump to farming and I owe it all to you. Thank you!

  8. Curtis, with the successive tomatoes, do you water them separately? More water fore the older plants?
Regarding the carrots, do they turn out sweet enough in the summer heat? What size carrots do you expect?

  9. Its a little more expensive, but I did find some 15 mil, 6" spaced drip tape. It is on Amazon, Wal-mart and even new egg. Does any one know anything about it? Irritec P1 5/8' drip tape 15 mil 6" Spacing 0.46 GPH 3600' Roll

  10. Love everything you do..
I started this year, lots of prep for one block (my own land) got 3 beds in! Arugula, Spinach, and Red Russian Kale.
100% germination on all, great start. Then Bam.. Spinach and Arugula never grew past micro.. did nothing. =(
I guess its my soil. lots of Yellow in the arugula and I was less dense (4 rows)
Im going to turn it in and try again and bring in topsoil to start with I guess..
Kale did okay but slower than expected.
Cherry Tomatoes doing fantastic so at least i didn't completely fail.

  11. Another great video Curtis! I was wondering if you have done any experiments with different color shade cloths. I read somewhere that black shade cloth can radiate more heat where white shade cloth might not. I've also come across some special reflective shade cloth online and wonder if it's really effective or just more marketing.
