  1. Ok, I think have one of the "next kales" for you, Jessica. I follow another channel called Weird Fruit — I have seen some astonishing things over there — the guy is quite funny and creative in his vloging. Anyway, you probably know this, but maybe others don't, that is that radishes grow a fruit (I know from some of your previous vlogs that fruit is really just a more generic term and can be interchangeable with vegetable). But the radish "fruit" are these elongated light-green tear-drop pods that can be eaten numerous ways. Weird Fruit guy was sent a couple of radish pod varieties. He tried them both raw (one was spicer than the other one), they both had great taste and really loud crunch. So, I think they could become the next "kale" snack/food. The other thing that Weird Fruit did was make a brine and then tried them about 5 days later. They still had an audible crunch and he said they were even better pickled. And I know you like pickling things, and you grow lots of radishes (I will be starting growing them and roasting them next year (as you are right they are amazing roasted) and given they only take 25 days, I say keep on the look out for the Radish Pod Revolution 🙂 Does anyone else have any next "kale/peanut" predictions or head's up?

  2. We hope y'all can make it to the YouTube OK Family Reunion in Pryor, OK on May 22nd! It's gonna be HUGE! There will be food trucks and fun!!! Tons of channels and subscribers. Fun for the whole family!!!

  3. Love the videos and seeing family, animals and garden. What do you do with all that kale? I mean ,that's a lot of kale!! Can't wait for Feb book to come out, it's pre-ordered!!!!!!

  4. What are you looking at Miah? I'm just standing here looking majestic like Superman. I am partial to Red Russian Kale. It's the best tasting here in 10a. You're right, it's so easy to grow.

  5. I am planning to get either a small high tunnel or a greenhouse and don't know which way to go. I am in Ontario, Canada so our winters are pretty chilly and snowy. I would love to start my plants early since our last official frost date is May 3…but that is not reliable. Any advice?
