Can I bay this in Europe?
Are these ok for growing trellising tomatoes? If not, what did you use?
I used omni structures in Ont. Farmers friend shipping quote was to high.
I can't see any link to the Gothic arch tunnel. I can see lots of other links and 1 to Shopify for the standard tunnel but not the new products.
I am totally new to all of this. I'm sorry if this is a lame question, but what is channel lock and wiggle wire?
I'm sorry for my last comment it was youtube's problem…it's ok now
Would they're be ventilation issues with the longer tunnels?
Thank you sir, I have been waiting for a video on the gothic tunnels.
that gothic tunnel looks super cool! thanks
I had been eyeballing their original caterpillar tunnel as possible season extension option for the future, and it’s nice to see this Gothic arch design. Southeast Alaska doesn’t get a ton of snow, but enough to be a concern with temporary structures. I’m still trying to decide between temporary covers and movable greenhouses.
Regardless of the legal status of pot in Canada and the US, it’s use results in the dumbing down of the population. It also has bad effects on health in the heavy users like men getting tits and psychosis. Bad idea. No offense.
Can you use the height extenders with the Gothic tunnel?
Hey Curtis, where can I get a Gothic Arch Tunnel in Europe ?
Hate to be off subject but catching some heat from the health department. Said there was no way I could make a place small enough for my market garden to pass as a processing area. Any advice on this would deff. Help me out. Thank. Love the videos Curtis. Stay awesome
Wish someone in Australia was supplying these at the price point on the Farmers Friends site
Hey so how did you ship your tunnels to kalowna. In in northern alberta and looking at getting a few tunnels and trying to figure out how to ship than or do I need to go pick them up?
Nice selling speech…
21445$ shipping lol
Thanks for making this Curtis. I was really cringing at the thought of having to go through an expensive and time-consuming/complicated greenhouse build, but I thought I'd be forced to because of these exact issues with the caterpillar tunnels I've had in the past (snowload and tight sides). This solves all my issues. I'll get the gothic arch and hoop extensions, build end walls out of steel frames and corrugated plastic, install baseboards for better insulation along the sides, and buy an automated roll-up side kit. BOOM! Official greenhouse.
So which one is better???
Thanks for sharing. Good to see the evolution of these kits. I reckon we're about 10-15 years behind the US here in the UK. So many of these kits and materials not available or at least much harder to find. I'd love to get some semi-permanent tunnels but I am on a very windy site. I am aware that Ray gets some serious winds at Rose Creek but I'd like to see some video footage of these tunnels in high winds. I just cant imagine putting these up on my site without them being damaged, ripped up or needing a lot of extra securing. That is one observation I'd make of your teachings Curtis, though you are probably the number one person in the world in terms of sharing what you have learnt about growing on a small scale for profit. You often show your techniques and technology in ideal conditions.I know you also share your mistakes and you do talk about problems. I guess this is a lot about context and you cant cover what might happen in every setting and we all have to find our own solutions to our specific problems. But if you're looking for ways to develop your video content I would definitely be interested in some more trouble-shooting videos as in what do you do in this scenario? Tell me if this isn't a fair comment and maybe I've neglected to notice a lot of the work you do in this area or maybe its not your priority. With respect and admiration from a new entrant to farming who is impatient to make progress.
Gothic house is good but still need to remove snow along the sides when you get repeat storms
Use a push broom when cleaning snow off your house
Yeah, good music
are they NRCS approved?
Great breakdown !
What about hail
