  1. Kevin, good video and thanks for the particulars (weights, types, ratios, etc). I see the manufacturer of your trays. Are they strong and firm when you move them? Not collapsing in the middle under the weight? I too am looking for a shallower container, but I haven't found anything yet. I just received micro-mats and trays from a company and I'm looking to try microgreens out. I've done wheat grass with no problems so I'm stepping up!

  2. Just found your channel and watching all your videos, very informative! Why not just use the coconut coir to grow them in? I have heard that the seedlings are too young to take up any nutrients and it's not necessary to grow them in the expensive soil.

  3. If I were to use 75% peat moss and 25% Pearlite and I plan on harvesting the microgreens during the cotyledon stage, could I recycle the soil with no issues since it isn't using soil nutrients?

  4. You don't even need soil, what I see some people using is a colander and they just pour sees in it an just place it slightly above a container of water.

  5. Thanks Kevin for all your videos! Do you notice if different seasons affect growth habits of your greens? Also what’s your light source? And is there a book you can recommend? Thanks

  6. Hi I enjoy your videos I am having trouble growing the curl Cress and my mustard‘s they turn yellow relatively quickly and I don’t know if it’s a damping off or if it’s a nutrient problem what’s your best guess?

  7. Hi Kevin. Thanks for your informative video! I am curious… you said this is a new mix trial for you. Were you pleased with the results? You posted this some time ago, so I am also curious whether you have adjusted your grow medium mix since then. Thanks again!

  8. I know u created this video a while back but can you tell me how many ounces of seed did you put on your trays it seems like they’re filled more than what I do I’m new to this help me out???

  9. Hi, can I grow microgreens in my sunroom? The sunroom is almost the same temp. as outside so because we are in Winter it stays around 45-50°F.

Also, after the germination stage will the microgreens be ok by a window indoors (like 6 inches away from the window)?

    Thank you.
