  2. right on track bro, my food forest is coming along too, im adding lots more pioneer plants and boosting my guilds with extra companion plants. bees are doing well and my chickens and bunnies are right on track.

  3. awesome.love watching your forest awakening with its inhabitants, walk out and grin say to yourself "this s**t works"….1st week of winter for me so time to tweek while ive got a bit of room

  4. It looks so beautiful James! New camera is great too – my eyes were darting everywhere identifying your plants. Do yOu notice many hover flies and good bugs visiting your cilantro flowers? They are the bomb for attracting insects. Do you have troubles getting mulch? Looks like that would be where most of the "work" is in your garden. It's amazing how quickly the soil structure improves under the mulch – it's going to be a great season for you mate. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Everything looks very good.  Are you getting grapes yet?  Mine grows like absolute crazy and is probably twice the size of yours and then suddenly all the grapes drop off before they are even ripe or they just stop growing and rot.  We completely cut it back to almost the ground last fall and it exploded with growth again.  It has at least 6 bunches of grapes on it so far.  I told the darn thing if it didn't produce something edible this year it was going!  Haha!  Let's hope it's listening.  🙂

  6. Beautiful garden man. You spoke of some of your plants self-seeding – did the fruits/seeds just fall onto the mulch, decompose with it and grow back through it? Did you add mulch in the meantime or remove it? Thanks, good vibes to your food forest.
