My video for the weekend, I will demonstrate the easy method of propagating Grape vines from semi-ripe cuttings, In the Summertime. They will start fruiting in about 3-4 years if pruned properly. You may want to use rooting hormone or honey to help rooting.

  1. Thanx for this video. It was very interesting as I planted a grape vine last year and I think I should have pruned it but I didn't know where to…I am going to do a short video for you to take a look at if you don't mind, to ask your opinion…thanx, sue x

  2. You might get fruit sooner than you think. I did a grape cutting from a green vine 5 years and ended up getting grapes the 2nd year. Within 4 years it was producing half as many grapes and the 20 year old vine that I took it from! Unfortunately I moved and by then it was much to deeply rooted in the ground to have any chance to dig up and take with me.
