VIDEO: How to Propagate willow from semi-ripe cuttings

Willow is one of the easiest plants to grow from cuttings, and willow grows best from hardwood cuttings but semi-ripe cuttings work almost as well. Only need a few materials if doing it on a small scale, a empty plastic bottle, compost, honey and a willow cutting! 1. I wonder how many types of willow are there ? I'll have to do researching. How long does it take for a nice root ball to form ? nice job sir thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. In a month the roots should start growing and then in two months there will be a nice root ball, Thanks for watching and I would like to hear how many willows there are in your research!

  3. send you a message in facebook on what I found out, way too much information to repeat and youtube don't allow for links at least I've not figured how to share them. enjoy the read I've not done reading myself just figured the weed part was worth a look see. Keep up the good work 🙂

  4. Great video, thank you! I'm planning on making a live willow fence at my allotment so heading just north of Glasgow to get the cuttings today. Thanks again for great info 🙂
