One of the easiest ways to prune anything, by pinching out the suckers like on this tomato. It takes barley any time and helps increase the yield of tomatoes you get, for the bigger suckers you can use them for taking cuttings from them.

I was only doing this yesterday, I put some in some pots a few weeks back and they rooted so they are in the greenhouse as well now… Nice way of creating more if some of your seeds failed.
I do this for the bigger tomatoes but I let cherry tomatoes bush up.
