VIDEO: How to Organically Control Pests by Growing Decoy Plants (Trap Crops)


Decoy planting has been around for many years to reduce pests and disease problems on crops. Trap crops are used on a larger scale however can also be negative so in this video I will tell you how decoy plants work and when you should use them. Also I will tell you the best way you can control pests and diseases organically.

  1. Great video Huw ,My granddad would plant Nasturtiums with his cabbages and it would stop a lot of the white caterpillars and it also keeps the weeds of the cabbage bed to. The Nasturtiums i grew here last year was covered in white caterpillars but still produced nice flowers.
