who is talking in the back ground besides you??? I can't understand a word your saying ….. please record again.. ๐
I'm sorry but no one else was there, I have no idea apart from the wind making that rustling sound in the trees, or a GHOST ๐
No sorry.. i didn't know that my facebook was also on in the back ground.. sorry.. listening again.. ๐
Good tips Huw, I will be sure to apply some of them to my fruit trees.
Ok ๐ don't worry
the beginning really freaked me out
Awesome vid btw
nice tips , I have two apples trees called liberty , they did not have much fruit this year because of early spring cold temps..
I'm starting some new apple trees. The two that were in one of my old vids both died when I went on vacation ๐
I have a year old dwarf Braeburn apple tree in a large pot which was covered in lovely blossom in the spring but only set around twelve apples and they all have speckled rust marks and are tiny. I am convinced that it was because there weren't enough insect out to pollinate in spring. (:o(
Tip #2 and #3 are very important! Especially with Citrus trees, whose roots don't compete well with other plants.
I nearly missed the first tip good thing you ran through them near the end great video. ghosts can play some neat tricks with not trying to scare ya off ๐ lol
Gypsum Helps Recondition Clay And Hardpan Type Soils Are clay or hardpan problems in your garden? Gypsum may be just the answer to help break -up and loosen the soil structure. It's not a miracle and it doesn't work over-night, but a three-year program of yearly applications should help improve poor soil conditions. It's easy to apply and relatively inexpensive for the job it does. One of the biggest problems a home gardener faces in a new or established garden is a clay or hardpan type of soil
No problem, thanks for watching but sorry about the sound quality ๐ Amazing peanut plants
Wow, that is cool and I will look into it as we have clay soil, thankyou for that information it was very kind of you to write all that ๐
Yeah, sometimes in the olden times, people used to shoot guns one night a year and shout around the place to scare of the evil spirits
Thanks for that information, I've been growing lemon and oranges from seed so I will take extra care not to let weeds grow, thanks
Hi there, we had loads of blossom but our apple crop has been the worst it's ever been, and with a lot of people around us as the seasons have been acting very strange, get a marjoram plant to help keep the bee population alive, thanks
Great to hear that you are starting again but sorry about they died, was it with the heat? Thanks
Yes, we have had the same, barley any apples on all 32 trees, it's been a strange season, I have heard of liberty I might buy one if they are selling it at a garden center, thankyou for watching
Yeah sorry, movie mistake ๐ Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching and you should do that ๐
interesting when I was younger my mother use to bang pots and pans to bring in the new year. I rather like it less noisy myself.
Good tips Huw.
It was both the heat and no water. I guess next time I go out of town I'll have someone take care of my plant.
You bet! A good rule of thumb for Citrus (in ground) is to clear away the grass to the outer edge of the tree's canopy, and then replace that grass with a good bark mulch to conserve moisture and help control weeds.
Thanx for that Huw
Great video, but why is the last tree is slanted?
Nice video, why is the last tree so slanted, did you sleep near that!
