I still remember what I`d watched in TV when I was a kid: Tarzan, Robin Hood, Herkules, Adventure series, Animal documentaris… Tv was full of good quality and the media treated the viewers with respect. What they do now will have bad consequences.
The problem is when the morals and ethics of the people degrade, so does everything related to them. As they swirl down the toilet, so do their families, their work ethic, their sense of decency, and their sense of right and wrong. Then they sit and clamor for more mindless garbage to entertain them as the world burns around them. In Rome they cried for bread and circus while the government filled it's belly at their expense and their republic burned to the ground. Today is no different.
I can totally understand why you feel the way you do. Personally, the last year and a half I have rarely watched television. I had to look up Honey Boo Boo on YouTube because I have never watched it. I spend my time preparing for hard times ahead. I have found a community of like minded folks here, and they have taught me a lot. I thank you for your service to this country. There are still good people out there, but folks better wake up! I am happy to be a new subcriber. God Bless.
