Hi, sorry for not replying earlier (I'm not getting notified anymore for some reason) but the pens are not home made. I cheated and purchased them flat-packed from Masters and it's actually a dog kennel manufed by Lucky Dog. I just modified it by adding some sleepers around the bottom and some chicken wire to stop the little ones from squeezing through the gaps. It wasn't cheap at $300 but they are well made and so easy to construct (no tools required). Cheers 🙂
Hi, the pen comes as a kit with wall segments and one door. Everything is held together by steel brackets with a wing-nut designed for finger tightening only. Then the roof has four angled arches which drop into the top of the wall frames with the tarp fitting over that. It's pretty easy to put together (one person).
