VIDEO: How to Collect and Save Rose Seeds


Rose seeds also known as rose hips are simple to collect and then I show you how to save the seeds for growing later on in Spring and that will be another video. I hope you learn something and brand new videos will be up very soon!

Clearly, a very enthusiastic gardner.  I really enjoyed your video.  My only comment, which I'm sure has been suggested by others:  Place the camera on the "hip" when extracting the seeds.  It's the only bit I really couldn't see because your handing was blocking the hip.  Other than that, it was a really fun video.

  2. Hi, You didn't say how to actually save them. Should they be put in my fridge with the rest of the seeds I store? I know they need a stratification, for at least 3 months. If I store them with my other seeds for that long, could I just sow them straight into a seed starting dome?

  4. can you make 1 that can show the zillions of women who get a rose on valentines day how to get seeds to grow them 1 cuz i know they have no clue they could can you title it for them so it comes up how to save valentines roses in a way or something they would type in to find a video u do great videos im really thankful for your video i had no idea it had seeds in there
