Nice. I sent you a video to look at. I will follow your luck with this. Check out my deep water peppers video… Good luck
Thanks! I'll check it out, but I didn't get it sent to me…could you re-send?
Hey Eva,
For starting seeds you don't need to put any nutrients in the water. As far as the net pots, there are various sizes – these are 2 inches, which is ~50mm
Can I put rockwool in earth?
Thanks for the video, it is super helpful. We attempted to start our own aeroponic grow last year and we could never get strong health plants to transplant. Your video addresses much of what we were doing wrong. Incidentally, where did you find the tray you are starting in? I can't seem to find anything quite like it on Amazon and the CloneKing seems overkill to me. Thanks again!
Hi, here is a fun experiment – grow a seed in a small container of soil and allow the roots to escape into water, kept in a container below. The roots of the same plant survives in both water & soil, while absorbing nutrition from both. This setup also helps in 'seeing' roots grow everyday. Many people have not seen anything like this, so it is definitely a good watch and they can easily replicate this simple experiment with any seed – http://youtu.be/wCKDXMP475g
do you ever have to move the plants into a larger mesh basket and growing media? im wanting to do this with tomatoes
how do you prevent your plants from stretching so tall like in the video at 1:15? BTW great videos
Adding a fan nearby will simulate outside wind conditions and generate thick and robust stem growth. The stronger the fan the stronger the plant.
