  1. There is more than what meets the eye going on here. I think it was some serious biodynamic shit where you make tea from certain plants (fresh) that would enact certain qualities on the vegetation you are applying the tea too. Can anyone clarify what it is that I am trying to speak of??? I have become interested all of a sudden again ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. My garden consists of almost 90% concrete so it would be quite inappropriate to place a compost bin into a raise bed; even so I can't really see the advantage of placing a standard compost bin into a garden containing 100% garden soil as I believe the excessive water would be lost to the soil under the compost bin.

  3. Well I will say that I'm no expert on the subject, those plants that are situated in that part of my garden in fact only receive roughly 4 to 5 hours of sunlight which is not sufficient to grow cucumbers. Apart from the top layer of materials inside the compost bin the rest is active compost breaking down.

  4. Yeah sometime space is an issue.
It isnt just the water bu the nutrients and worm activity that they can promote.
Though like you say if space in the garden is at a preium it is hard to justify using that space for the compost bin ๐Ÿ™‚
