  1. Excellent work, Huw! Just goes to show, people will always be more interested when the seller knows what he's on about!

And, many moons ago, I helped out my brother, running a market stall selling all-sorts of stuff…at first, I was very shy and would just sit there waiting for passing trade to come to us but after a few weeks, I was shouting out at anyone and everyone who came anywhere near us!

    Keep up the good work!

"COME AND GET YOUR TEA-TOWELS, 4 FOR A POUND NOW!!!"

  2. You have such a lovely voice and I enjoy listening to you talk. Its no wonder why anyone would buy anything from you when you speak. Great job and much success to you. I wish I was there I would buy everything from you.

  3. Goji berries should sell well, nowadays, as they are part of the health food fad. They grow wild in hedges, in parts of Britain, and could be brought indoors in pots in the colder months, anyway. Thanks for sharing your selling tips! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Good job! I took some psychology courses in university that taught pretty much the same concept. If you proactively engage people and offer a value proposition then your sales will greatly increase. Offering something different or unusual that is hard to find is a great tactic as well. Glad to hear that you had success!

  5. just wanted to say that i have found your channel very informative and helpful. thank you so much ๐Ÿ™‚ sincerely. you have a lot of very useful tips and suggestins. i am going to start a small nursery this coming year. very excited!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Just wanted to let you know that your passion for growing plants is infectious & inspirational. I can't wait for spring to arrive so I can have a go at growing trees. I have a thing for trees lol. I'm going to start with Apple and hopefully one day grow a Eucalyptus. I have to invest in a greenhouse as my garden is all flagged.
Keep up the good work, you will be very successful one day I am certain. Thanks again, Jo

  7. Huw, do you know where I can find out about Plant Breeding Rights before I start to sell plants I've propagated? Some time spent on google has not made it any clearer, can't find a definitive list even on the UK government's pages about the subject. Help!
