Thank you answered all my questions except if you can eat the greens. See that answered in another comment.
I'm seeing red in mine and wasn't certain when to pick. About how long does it take typically to grow (in days/weeks)?
I’m Montagnard indigenous, I like radish. You radish look great , enjoy.
Great video. Can't wait to eat my radishes!

I'm going to let mine get bigger, I like peppery and spicy!
Can we eat radish leaves!!
Can you eat the leaves? If so what do you use them for.
That’s a lovely accent you’ve got there. New Jersey?
Thank you so much for all your helpful tips I'm following alot of your tips and tricks I live in zone 6A
Nice vid
I like the way you showed us how to estimate if a plant is ready to harvest. I am doing radishes for the first time and they are growing nicely.
keep in mind this info only applies for your location and type of radish. i'm at over 8,500 ft and grow various sorts of radishes in pots, garden, etc., and they all grow differently.
I love you!
So here's a question: if you grow the red radish variety like these, the red should stick out of the ground and you'll be able to tell that they're ready to be picked, correct? So you won't need to harvest till you see the red poking out of the ground? Because I can't tell when root vegetables are ready to harvest. Thanks.
Too much water makes them split
This was very helpful thank you
Wow just found this after having spent the last year following you,
And must say I'm amazed at what you already had under your wing back then ! Keep up the great work !.
From NZ
very helpful thank you very much
Are there different type of radish.. like small or big sizes? .. mine is the little round ones
Do you eat the radish leaves?
Get to the point prick
So excited few more weeks and I can pick my radishes. Yum
Good video. One thing you could add on what to do with the radish leaves is that they are edible. I use them in soups, stews, stir fries. Others also use them in salads. So rather then tossing them aside or throwing them in the garbage, eat them!
Thanks for the video Huw, I like your style. I've grown radishes that have bolted while my back was turned and they are pretty tough. Have you any tips on how to process them to make them more edible? Roasting, pickling…? Or are they only fit for compost now?
