On August 1, 2013, Living Web Farms was honored to host a visit from leaders of the Rodale Institute and Demeter Association facilitated by Dr. Jeanine Davis, Assoc. Prof. and Extension Specialist with the Dept. of Horticultural Science, NC State University . They were visiting as part of an event on biodynamic farming opportunities in Western NC. Patryk Battle, Marshall Hagan, Rocco Sinicrope and members of the Living Web Farms team share organic and sustainable methods in use at the farms, compost management and the building of rich topsoil from deep subsoil to achieve soaring rates of fertility.
