Good video Jay, very…very…good! I agree with you on all points. The most important point you made here was the Moral Courage point…without moral courage, all else is for not. Well said brother, very well said!
AWESOME Upload, totally agree with ya Jay,….its sad to see so many people here, "fighting tooth and nail" for their share of the pie, an ever decreasing pie of sustenance, back when my gramps moved his family here, this was a median sized small city/town of 50,000, while these people were poor when you take into consideration the Government's definition on poor, they were not poor in spirit, most had backyard veggie gardens, fruit trees, chickens, turkeys, ducks, some even had a hog or a coupla goats(for meat though), buying only things not available on their homestead, but….the promise of a better life, with a higher level of education, good paying job and the modern "American way of life",….it has entrapped the vast majority here. Thumbs up good buddy!!
Very well said Jay.. I think one of the largest problems we face "down" here is people have no sense of personal freedom.. Folks believe that they are free to do what they want yet are removed from society & a sense of kinship :/ Hope that makes sense.. I think it is because we haven't had the social upheavals many have had in other parts of the world that tend to bind people together as a society.. We went & had new years lunch at a Filipino friends place & it was amazing to hear about how they are all one big family that share assets, family duties & food without having many blood ties, only community ones.. I don't know of any people in our past or present circles of friends that would hand out spare keys to their house so others in need could use it when needed.. I must say that I do feel a great sense of community here on YT & in some online groups.. Pity we are all spread out all over the world.. Cheers Jay & thanks again for the thought provoking posts..
I agree and I would add drama, people get hooked on some drama and sit there watching it talking about it really is silly and consuming. Yes courage is lacking with some humility on the side. This is what I am teaching my children to stand up when it is necessary to stick together when it counts.
Just found your channel, people need to stop buying stuff that we do not need, get out of debt, I cannot say this enough. People think I am nuts with this attitude but it is the only one I have. I am wondering if you live in the US and what region or elsewhere. Thanks for the videos.
I completely agree with you on the courage front. I get bouts of courage when I work really hard towards independence, then I sort of fall back into a rut falling into the system. I'm slowly figuring out how to work with the "good" part of the system to gain independent. Thanks for sharing. I'm happy to have stumbled upon your channel.
