Wow, my girlfriend would have exploded if I messed up the floor like that! Lol..
There`s still much char in the soil around here, due to a big barn that burned down here many years ago. It seems the char is very resistant.

I use the ashes from my woodstove. Keeps the bugs away and fertilizes the soil. Man, I bet you got told off… 🙂
don't worry as long as you clean it up. lol My husband get a little angry when I spill some dirt since my plants is in the balcony . When people come to my house, the first thing they see is my plants. I love it because they ask me so much questions. Well any way I calm him down by giving him a sad look and asking him if he wants fresh coffee. That always get him to calm down lol
