VIDEO: In search of Perennials

Visited a nursery located in an old walled location dating likely back to the middle ages. There are many such places here.

  1. Oh your making me want spring to hurry up here in Canada 🙂 although I don't have much more space left I still have a hardy Kiwi to put in and grafting a few types of apples to my one apple tree. I should be able to add 4 more types to the one tree. I have seen those columnar apple trees in the past. Interesting but not edible in my zone.

  2. So you don`t like sour cherries? Lol..
I like to have a mix of sour and sweet cherries in the yard. Love to walk around and chew on both types all the time.
The sour ones i most often eat when I`m thirsty in the warm sunny days. I also love to eat a handfull of them in the morning. Gives a good taste to the mouth. Some says it`s only me and the magpies that eat them, haha.
My dad made liquor and schnaps of the sour ones.
Looks like a nice plant shopping place.

    All the best,
    Halvor.

  3. Bud grafts on the apple trees I think. Kaki very nice fruit we can get them in the super market here. Been looking for a tree. Can feel a road trip to Germany coming on. Good tour man the currants and goose berrys make great jelly/ Jams.

  4. That Architecture Is Amazing Jay!

And wow, the nursery has a massive selection compared to anything around here. You're like me, I don't like those sour berries and such, they don't do anything for me. LOL How far do you have to go to get here and what did you decide to get?
