Beautiful old town, parts of it remind me of medieval areas of York in UK. Thanks for vid looks like you live in an idillic place.
There are no other words than beautiful, breathtaking and spectacular to describe what you have shown. I love all the old construction techniques and embellishments. Those fountains/wells are just out of this world. Is the well at the Sekt winery dry? I didn't notice any water running in it. I have a friend in Cologne. Perhaps you've heard of him. He is RhinelandRedneck65, his name is Ralf and he is into overnight camping and enjoying all of nature.

That was so interesting, Jay, to see a town that dates back so many years. Very different from anything you see in, Florida with the exception of St. Augustine. Thanks for sharing it with us. Neat to see where you are living.

Awesome place on the map man! My Great, Great Grandfather was a Jesuit, at the University of Ingolstadt in the late 1700's. One of the last before it was closed. Thanks for sharing, I would love someday to visit your area of the world.

AWESOME Tour of your place, Jay, the beautiful germanic buildings, the timbers, i had thought they were only painted on, now i know they're real timbers, and conserved so well for such a long time too! Reminds of the awe that struck me when I made my first trip up to Salt Lake City, and taking in Temple Square, the Mormon Tabernacle, the colonial type buildings here are really grand but they've more a "roman" feel to 'em, whereas these have that "germanic" feel to 'em, thumbs up my buddy, really enjoyed this tour!! 🙂
Great video! We have the same problem with bikes in Toronto here with bikes. I have nothing against bikes at all and ride one but all new cities need to have a sidewalk, bike lane and car lanes. I've seen too many upstanding citizens in my city (doctors, etc) get hit by cars all because they have to share the same lanes.
Amazing old architecture and surrounded by those beautiful vineyards.
As someone who tries to make whatever I build last I really appreciate those great old buildings.
