A pint says those broad beans survive the winter. I planted my seeds this time last year and they came through like beauties. Now is the time to take the head off your sunflower if you are going to take the seeds. I messed it up and left mine on too long, and lost the lot. Those squash looked great to me, 9 is great going, well done! With the patty pans I would be tempted to shave the skin off and put them in a pie case, maybe with some chilli to give them some bite. My wife is vegetarian (i'm not) so I regularly look for ways I can serve up wholesome food in a way that is healthy and she will like and to me that looks like a pie in the making. If you try it let me know how it goes. Your videos are never boring and I always enjoy them. Well done mate, and all the best.

Patty Pan squash….slice top off and fill with mince beef/bolognese type sauce..pop lid back on and bake in oven on a tray for approximately 20 – 25 mins or until you can slide a knife in and out easily
