Hey, in today’s video we will be learning the easy steps to making apple juice in a press. We will be using a 20 liter apple press today. This is a quick video giving you everything you need to know about juice pressing. A great advantage of using a press is it can speed up time with 2 people than using a juicer and is great to see the traditional electric free method. Here is what you’ll need:
2 buckets
1 sieve
1 funnel
1 basher
1 knife
1 chopping board
Lots of apples
1 apple press
1 Glass bottle
If you would like to know how to brew this into a cider watch this video:

Do you have a speech impediment, or are you English?
Could you do the bashing in a food processor?
Awesome. I can't wait until my fruit trees get going enough I will look to buy one of these juice presses forsure
Just put it in a blender
Thanks for the video! Great way to show my curious 7 yr old how apple juice is made.
"That's cool and thank you for sharing this video with us," Chloe asked me to write this she is 7 years old and was curious about apple juice.
That juice will taste like candy, although I don't think I could handle all that fructose.
tysm for this me and my family grow apple trees and we no longer need to buy apple juice this helped so much.
Hi what litre is your press and what's the cloth used inside it? Will this probably come with a press if I buy one?
why you are bothering tooooooo much?????
Amazing video! Thank you for your demonstration.
No juice tastes better than fresh squeeze apple juice. It's taste almost like if you were biting into a fresh apple!
I'm bouta make my pp big af
I've just bought a press – just the 6L one, to press apples from my allotents. i was grateful for this useful talk through and demo as I wanted to see how to put the press together accurately and use it safely. The apple crushing bit with the fence post in the bucket was hugely useful as I didn't have a scratter (very expensive for how often you use it) so used two bits of 3 x 2 screwed together with a piece of broom handle screwed horizontally at the top and found smashing the chopped apples very theraputic and takes two or three minute as you said. i got two litres+ out of my first pressing. Thanks Huw, I'll be subscribing. Top video.
This seems very harsh for people who have back and neck issues. Is there anyway to make it less straining to those who can't lift heavy things or bend over?
Was just curious where you purchased that handle for your press?
I have a very old press like this and hoping to find a new handle.
Thanks
What is the make of the press, where do you buy it how much does it cost?
So useful – Thank you !!
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! – Matthew 3:2
Jesus is coming back , be born again and turn from your wicked ways, we all need to turn from our wicked ways Jesus is coming! He is my Lord and Savior and the ONLY Lord and Savior AMEN HALLELUYAH!
A good video.
But I would be a bit wary of using a fence post for bashing that is treated with preservatives.
How many pounds of apple per litre
How do you pasteurize this?
Thank you so much for this video. What can I use for preservation for long time?
Or just eat an apple and get all the benefits of the apple fruit…
Ugh…get a life…this is only for extremely bored people.
