Heheh, I'd use a router on that table Jay ;o) Jig saws don't make a very nice cut. You could actually have the circular saw attached on that stick you used to draw that circle and saw it that way ? Ah well, I'm all for using anything at hand to get the job done ;o)
Hi Bo, I don't have a router either. I have even less use for that than a heavy duty jig saw. I don't do those type of projects often enough to be worth the expense. Using the stick as a guide is an interesting idea. very likely though I would have had it finished this way by the time I figured out how best to use the stick, attach it and get the right angle. Yessir, I'm like you, I use what gets the job done. Unless I feel I do not have the proper expertise to do it within my own determined safety limits.
You did a great job. I look forward to see it finished with tile. It makes things more meaningful when you get creative like this and make them into what you want. Best wishes. E 🙂

Job done. It will be nice tiled and last a lot longer with he weather.

Nice work and good advice, looking forward to seeing the finished job. I built my whole green house with a circular saw. all the cuts any ways.
