I live in a subalpine region in the Rocky Mountains of the United States where although we can get 100F days in August we can still get snow even in June, but I have been able to plant my tomatoes outside as early as April using the Wall-o-Waters insulation against cold. Highly recommend them. Helps to get an earlier yield with my tomatoes. I have had great luck with the SuperFantastic and Champion varieties in my area. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for this. I really liked the description of the different types of tomatoes especially the part about bush, vining and draping tomatoes. I guess it's time for me to get planting.
In zone 6a on the southern plains of Colorado, Stupice and Brandywine grew to 7' tall and gave us pounds of tomatoes. Amish Paste grew well as did Sun Gold cherry tomatoes (and, of course 100 Million).
It's worth listening to just to hear how he says, "to-MAH-to".!
i have this tomato plant just transplanted a week ago. just before transplanting i had added 1 aspirin powdered and a tbsp of crystal salt (i confused it with epsom salt) to the soil and then transplanted it. after 3 days or so, i noticed white lines on two leaves. after going thro the net, i found it was a disease. i plucked the two leaves and threw it. now there are no white lines. but the entire plant is becoming yellow. i used to water it with banana peel water every 3 days or so. now i have stopped it. what to do? advise would be appreciated. thanks 🙂 growing any vegetable plant seems to be tough. this is the third time tomato plants are failing me. 🙁

Looking for help. Have 3 Better Boy plants in huge pots on my patio. Every year I grow delicious tomato's using Celebrity. Wanted a bigger tomato this year but have been plagued with Blossom End Rot. So found Gardeners on youtube and followed their advice on getting rid of it. I tried several things. Is pretty much under control now but tomato's are not getting very big and they are starting to ripen. They look good but when I sliced and ate one I almost spit it out it was so sour. Better Boy is supposed to be juicy and sweet but mine are sour. Going to loose my whole season of juice this year if I can't find a way to sweeten them or find out why they are sour. Can you help.

I have grown Sweet Million tomatoes for some years. I start them off indoors and then transplant then into growbags in the greenhouse at the end of April or very early May. Always have an amazing crop. But this year we are adding Alicante tomatoes too.
Spray them with asprin folks and don't grow beef tomato in Britain.

I am growing moneymaker tomatoes as it seems its a good variant. Hope it survives the winter as i see they are perrenial and can live longer than a year. Most of the time summers here average around 30-32 degrees and winters at nighttime does not fall below 5 degrees
