Right oh, here I go, thanks for that!
Just wanted to say thanks! Simple steps, it can get convoluted trying to piece everything together
Finally a simple video for us newbies to understand. You're right. Hydroponics should stay simple and fun. Don't overcomplicate it. I see so many beginner tutorials of people talking to us as if we are starting a industrial scale commercial hydroponic business. Most of us just want a few plants.
i used net cup and clay bed and left a certain water level for them, something white grew atop my growing bed, what is it?
Can't tell if this is for 420 seeds… Literally here so I can grow spearmint hydroponically. (not kidding either lol)
Thanks for the video, I have a question tho. After the first initial sprouts and you add fertilizer, does the heat Mat stay on for the 2-3 weeks? Or do you unplug it after the first sprouts?
If using a store bought plant that has roots already, how much of the roots themselves go into the water? How much stay out?
Hi – I know this is an old video but I have to ask because I'm confused here. Do you recommend a grow light for starting the seeds germination? If I live somewhere sunny and warm can I put them outside? Do they germinate in darkness or do you need a grow light if indoors? Thank you for your videos!
With all the new products on the market, is this still a method that you would recommend? Or is there a better method out there?
When is it advised to bring the seedlings to a light source after germination?
Do we need to do anything about the pH for watering?
Straight and to the point. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! Your videos are super helpful in getting me started 🙂
Thanks Luke, How frequently should I spray them or irrigate them with water and fertilizers after they sprout and onwards?
A hole less tray has no holes….check.
Do I take the plant out of the rock wool to place it in the net pots or leave them in the rock wool to grow until harvesting?
Very well done and one of the few channels I have subscribed to.
But isn't it important for the seeds to have sunlight?
Do you separate the cubes first before planting the seeds?
silly question.. how many seeds per hole?
Don't they have to be in complete darkness to sprout?
can you advise on light? when does it need to be dark and when does it need light (and how much)?
What fertilizer do you use ?
Also do you use the same fertilizer for seedlings as you do for grown plants?
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! I bought a huge hydroponic system and all the stuff you showed in this video to get started and it’s been sitting in my living room for a month because my mind was blown with all the pieces, parts, and really big words. Your video has helped me get started and not be so intimidated! So thanks again!
definitely made it simple.
Rock Wool's PH is usually 7-8 good idea to PH water to 5 and soak the Rock Wool in the PH'd water for better germination…
What do you use for fertilizer?
