VIDEO: GGC – 4 – Eastern Canada road trip

11 months ago, we embarked on a coast to coast to coast road trip across Canada, for our honeymoon. We visited every province and territory except Newfoundland, Nunavut, and PEI. Over the next three weeks (and before our first anniversary), we intend to rectify that! In this video, we prepare to leave for a three week road trip across Eastern Canada.

  1. Hey I made an account to write here, you guys are awesome! :-D, I have a van myself kickstarting a dream and what not, its a bit older, but full of love and has lit the candle! Thanks for sharing, lots of lots of lots of insight you guys give. Thats what lots of us need. Just a little more inspiration, so hats off to you.

I bet the east was magnificent to you guys. Those folks know how to have fun don't they??!
    Cheers,
    Shawn

  2. why do you trust that beater van (no offense) its an 1990 something dodge back then those vans were shit and would always break down. Did you ever break down or rebuild the engine or trans on this?? Please answer i wana know if these dodges are worth it

  3. I'm probably a little late in finding your videos, and by now you may already know that WD-40 displaces water in a damp or wet distributor cap, coil wire ends and other ignition parts. But, if you didn't know that, try it instead of the hair dryer next time, or if for some reason you can't use the hair dryer. I had a much older Dodge pickup and had to keep a can of WD-40 with me for the same reason. I learned later that my distributor cap was cracked, which was allowing moisture to get in.
    Your videos are appreciated!

  4. Do you guys have an itinerary for this trip? I literally am looking for EXACTLY this trip for July 2017 but can't quite figure out where you made your stops…. so excited to visit Canada for Canada Day and hit all of the free parks!

  5. just found your video and is also on my favorite list to watch. your information was clear, and well presented.i have been considering converting a van but have hesitated as it would be just me and my 3 dogs. I have never had to trouble shoot, or empty a black water tank as we, as a family always had a cottage in northern Ontario. I now , at 74 feel that there is so much more of Canada I want to see, and it is now or never. so, keerp your fingers crossed and will keep you posted. my plan is to use the summer for travelling. will be using the kiss principle when I convert it unless I can find a converted van reasonably priced.thanks again for posting, keep it up

  6. When you crossed the ferry to Newfoundland, You were literally about 100km from my house ๐Ÿ˜› Had I known about you folks then, I'd have given you a tour of the Great Northern Peninsula! Maybe next time. ๐Ÿ™‚ Blessings from Paradise!

  7. With things the way they are in the USA currently I was thinking to move to Canada. My wife and I live simply. Does anyone have a suggestion for a target city or area in Canada to move to?
