Hmm I can nearly taste that from here, I miss the cherry trees we had at our last house but we do have one that we planted early this year that is looking really healthy so maybe in a couple of years we will be picking again.
The cherries looked great while you plucked them and the jam looked awesome too. Can this same method be used for strawberries?
Preserving fresh fruits in the form of jams and preserves is not common here in India, probably because we have fresh foods available at reasonable prices through the year. Another reason could be that most people don't grow their own fruit. My family makes a mango jam every year when there is a surplus of mangoes in the market. Ofcourse preserving vegetables to make pickles as an accompaniment to Indian food is staple to India.
I pass a house with lots of cherry trees everyday and I keep waiting for them to pick them but so far they seem to just be falling onto the path. I'd love to make this!
That looks very delicious Cherry Jam. Thank you very much for showing us how to do it. Best wishes Patrick

Nice job we have been making jam and syrup. Nothing finer 😉
