Part 16 of our road trip across Northern Quebec and Eastern Canada. Over 600 kilometers of rough, remote, and gorgeous gravel road through the wilderness of Labrador, from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean! We even saw our very first iceberg ever! Plus, some nature photographs at the end.

the flies out of been crazy, and u just missed construction by less than an hour, I finished flagging at 5-6 o-clockish
oh and the bridge just outside of goose, the grates were put on wrong so that's why it felt like u were moving side to side, my mom don't like that bridge either
Ever thought of joining the http://365project.org/ 365 project? A photograph community. I think your pictures are stunning!!
My wife and I only caught up with your videos about a month ago, so we decided to do the whole series back to day 1, and we are loving it.
why did you drive with the windows open with all of that dust flying around?
If u ever go to port hope Simpson again there's a few places to stay there

And Campbell's b&b
I use to live there
thanks to share this video. i'm planning to do it in summer on a adventure bike . jan
This is incredible. I want to do this trip very soon. Thanks so much for sharing. Did you guys have a cabin air filter malfunction? That's a crazy amount of dust wow!
I have a love hate relationship with this road
I Live in Red bay lol
enjoying the trip
Even if you just published a photo e-book, people would buy it. Good pictures!
What model camera(s) did you use?
Great trip! I did the same with my son, years ago. We were faster, because we had limited time: Left Montreal sunday @ 23:00, Labrador City Monday 5PM, Goose Bay Thursday 3AM and we caught the ferry @ noon. You're lucky.
Thanks for not having any music….Itssodistracting.
I still have dust in my glovebox from the 510 after a while the dust gets sentimental. Great channel.
Thanks for sharing your videos.
I've been watching your videos on your travel to NewFoundland and other videos on people traveling from the lower 48 to Alaska. With the terrible roads going to these places, ripping your tires apart and causes great damage to your vehicle and windshields, why would you put yourself and your family in such a position? Yes, it's beautiful and exciting and great wild animals and ocean life to see, but the price may be too high in terms of safety. Your can travel closer to the Canadian/ American boarders and see and experience these things with paved roads and safer conditions. Yes I'm an old guy, but I got to live a long time by making wise choices for me and my family.
The part where you said your at the ocean is actually the strait of belle isle
Great video. I took a similar road from Thompson Manitoba to Gillam Manitoba and can relate to the dust problem
Curious if there were any gas stations along the 600km of gravel road and if so how far apart were they?
Something was very wrong with some part of your suspension system.
If your vehicle broke down in the middle of this section, how long would you have to wait for a tow and how much would it cost?
How can I prevent the dust from getting in, do I leave the windows closed?
I know that this video is really dated, but what might your cruising speed have been ?
I want to do this so bad but I would have to buy a new car lol!!! I don't think my 08 Corolla would make it
Wife and I did the drive from Anchorage to Orange County, CA a few years ago remember there was no internet and radio for hundreds of miles and we were forced to talk more to each other in years and we have been married for 38 years.
The paving on this highway is nearly complete this year
nothing much along that stretch of road but Moosequitos , ( horse flies )
